We found Ms. Butters in the Helena River Park in January after her owners had dumped her. It would get down to seven degrees that night, so we brought her home. You could see her ribs, and she was malnourished. She also has been neglected, if not abused, by her former owner. We would keep Butters, but we have a territorial puppy that lashes out at Butters.
She is a one-year-old American Pit-Bull Terrier Mix. She is on the smaller size of Pits and will get right in your lap to cuddle. Butters has had a check-up at the vet and tested positive for heartworms, but we are taking care of those costs and have started her on medications.
